Agriculture, livestock, fisheries and coastal shipping use lower income figures than other sectors.
Are you currently on an E-9, E-10, or H-2 visa?
Only holders of these specific visas are eligible to transition to E-7-4.
Have you stayed in Korea for 4 years or more in the last 10 years on an E-9, E-10 or H-2 visa?
If not, 3 years in a non-metropolitan area can qualify instead — but only with a provincial or metropolitan government recommendation.
Are you currently registered and working normally at your workplace?
Will your next contract with this employer run for 2 years or more?
Have you worked for this employer for 1 year or more?
Your employer must have employed you for at least a year to recommend you.
Your sector requires at least ₩26,000,000 per year. This is a requirement, not a scored item.
Before you start
E-7-4 is scored across five areas: average income, Korean language ability, age, bonus points and deduction points. You need 200 points or more, and separately at least 50 points from income and 50 from Korean language.
What this tool does
- Applies the official 1 June 2026 scoring table exactly, including the sector-specific income figures
- Checks the two component minimums separately from your total, because both must be met
- Flags the core eligibility requirements and exclusions that points cannot make up for
- Shows the 2026 temporary Korean-language deferral when it could apply to you
- Runs entirely in your browser — your salary and immigration record are never sent anywhere
What it cannot do
- It is not an immigration decision. Reaching 200 points does not by itself grant a change of status.
- It cannot see the annual quota, your documents, or your employer’s willingness to recommend you.
- It cannot judge disputed facts, such as whether a particular period of stay counts.
- The Ministry of Justice may change requirements and scoring items during operation.

2026 Updates (June 1, 2026)
- •Quota: ~33,000 selections, year-round applications via HiKorea
- •Agriculture/Fisheries: Employer hiring quota raised to 50% (from 30%)
- •Forced job-changes: Previous work history now counts toward tenure
- •Korean language deferral: If score ≥ 150 excluding Korean, may defer until first extension (through Dec 31, 2026)
